Some guys from my high school are doing this AWESOME adventure called the Rickshaw Run. I'm so insanely jealous! They made a template to let anyone do some color concepts for their ride on this race. Here's mine. I might do another one.

UPDATE: I'm done! lol This is probably the most photo-real I've ever gotten with my painting. I'm really happy with it! Thanks to my roommate for the lineart and to Devon for the inspiration!

Been awhile since I've painted. I'm trying to go for a realistic feel. Which isn't my norm. We'll see how it goes. I'm calling it the "Del Rio Progress" cause my buddy wants to see progress shots. I'm sure you can guess his name :P

I've been wanting a dog for a very long time. And I really wanted to wait till I had my own place or something. But with work not going as I'd like, I found myself getting depressed about it. Things being out of my hands. Also it seems everyone has their boyfriends girlfriends or getting married, having kids. lol Just feeling really out of the loop. Anyway! My friend just happened to find welsh corgi puppies. Ask anyone, and I've been wanting one of those lil guys FOREVER. 

So we decided we'd each get one.

I'll be picking him on the 14th!

The Oakley Skateboard Design Challenge

"Inspired by the recent 2-Tone Dunny Series, our Web Creative team decided to hold a 2-Tone Skate Deck Challenge. Armed with decks donated by our friends at Arnette, each participant was given a PMS color swatch they had to use, in conjunction with any other form of black & white. There were no rules other than you had to stick to your specified color. Theme could be whatever each individual chose. Most chose to use traditional paint, but one was actually sewed"

My color was bright green, and i really had no idea what to do. So i decided a monster would be cool, and went with Medusa after i really thought about it.
I'm pretty proud of this. I ended up getting 3rd place, it was a really close call for second. I'm still extremely happy with my finished product. I usually always paint someone else's lines. But this was all mine :D
